Mrs. Cooper

Hello, My Name Is...

My name is Tori Cooper and I am thrilled to be back at Larkspur Elementary School.  I have been teaching in Douglas County School District since January of 2015. I love Larkspur Elementary because of the sense of community and the dedicated teachers and awesome teammates. I am looking forward to getting to know you and your students!

Outside of school and teaching I enjoy spending time in the WONDERFUL state of Colorado. I enjoy hiking and having good conversations over delicious food.  I grew up in Kansas City and I moved to Colorado with my family in 2009.  I love every day I get to spend in this beautiful state!  This summer I got married and was able to go hiking and kayaking, spend time with close friends and family (safely, at a distance), and read lots of books!

As an educator, I strive to create personal relationships and develop a love of learning in my students.  Growing up I had several amazing teachers who took the time to get to know me, these are the teachers I still remember today.  I aspire to be a teacher who can develop a love of learning in my students.
